At least I'm not sitting in that recliner.. couch potatoing..... and that, in my opinion, is the greatest advance I have made to date!

There is a real moral to this video blog story. I was sooo enthused about starting to use my Wii gaming system to do some exercise at home. I bought 2 workout disks and all the equipment required. But what I didn't realize was....

We have been looking at a Wii, now I am convinced we need one. It looks like it gives you a good workout. You will get there. You have lost 20% of your goal already! Those knees and feet need some more weight off before you can really put them to work. Remember the factor is 7x for knees (1 pound equals 7 pounds of pressure on the knee). Say hi to your trainer. ReplyDeleteI don't think I could do that either, as I have a screwed up back etc even after multiple surgeries. I do take aqua fitness classes & take physio-therapy (physical therapy in the USA ;o) ) & that's about all I can do, and I'm proud of it!

wow...I could never do this, kudos to you for trying! Also, great comment from Peggy....I didn't know that it was 7 lbs of pressure per lb.

ReplyDeleteI just saw your Wii video. I think you should try it again. Just do what you did last time and I'll bet you'll notice a difference.
BTW, Randy & I were thinking of having Santa bring us one for Christmas. Now, I know we have to get one.
